Ha Gil-jong’s complete works 1, 2, 3 were published jointly by the Korean Film Archive and Busan International Film Festival, giving a glimpse of the filmmaking career of late director Ha Gil-jong in commemoration of his 30th death anniversary. Ha Gil-jong’s complete works consist of the 1st volume,?as a collection of the poems and essays of the late director, the 2nd volume,?, which focuses on the reviews and criticisms by the movie world in his time, and the 3rd volume,?, a collection of his art works and unpublished screenplays, magazines, and newspapers in his time.
The 1st volume reincludes?, a poetic work that he printed at his own expense while studying at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Seoul National University,?, and Ha Jong-gil’s posthumous collection of poems published by Park Pyoung-sik, a disciple of Ha Jong-gil. It also contains essays written by Jung Gwa-ri, a literary critique, from the angle of?and?, which captures the artistic sensibility of contemporary times as reflected on his poetic world.? |
