The fifth outcome of the “Illumination Series” jointly planned and published by the Korean Film Archive and the Busan International Film Festival, fifth Illumination Series following 『Kim Seoung-ho : Face of Father, Portrait of Korean Cinema』in 2007,『Han Hyung-mo: The Alchemist of Popular Genres』in 2008,『All That She Allows : Star, Actress, and Jimi KIM 』 in 2010, and 『Kim Kee-duk, On the Front Line of Korean Genre Films』in 2011 showcase the life and works of Actor Shin Young-kyun, the main character of the Retrospective Exhibit in the 17th Busan International Film Festival. Professor Joo You-shin of the Department of Film and Image of Youngsan University, Professor Shin Gang-ho of the School of Theater and Cinema of Daejin University, Professor Kang Seong-ryul of the Division of Northeast Asia Cultural Industries of Kwangwoon University, and Professor Yu Ji-na of the Division of Theaters of Dongguk University participated as authors.
