The village is quiet, yet lively. 'Hi!' 'Hello MacGyver! Hi, ha ha!'
The director and his wife, greeting people by familiar nicknames live in this village in Seongmisan (mountain) for 12 years. Whereas villages no longer exist in cities, people in this village make up a true 'village community.' 'What is the best way to live your life?' The people in this village ask this question to the system. They bravely experiment on things, not worrying about the outcome. Through trial and error, they always manage to find their way. This community is 20 years old; today, it is a mature, successful urban community.
One day in 2010, tension arises in this village of unique members. A school foundation wants to cut Seongmisan to transfer school there, and the City of Seoul approves. But Seongmisan is home, playground, and school to the villagers. People begin to act quickly as soon as they find out about the danger. Though the process of protecting their mountain is eventful, the villagers dance, sing, and approach the problem in a creative way. Will the villagers be able to protect their mountain?
