Kim Do-il is a thirty-something bachelor. On his way to rent a place to live, he meets Ju-ri, who is homeless. They promise to pretend they're newlyweds and live together in return for Ju-ri taking care of the household chores. Meanwhile, the house owner Professor Yang and his wife, married since their college days abroad, are having marriage trouble. Yang envies Do-il and Ju-ri for their 'trouble free' marriage. They decide to 'swap' partners and date them. But Do-il falls in love with Ju-ri but she has a fiance. She confesses her love for him then bids him goodbye.
