A married couple lives happily working at a salt field. But then, the husband has his leg broken during a skirmish over wage problem. Feeling financially threatened, his wife steals salt together with other like-minded women. However, she gets caught in the act of stealing. Seeing his wife returning home as if nothing had happened unlike other women, he gets suspicious of her and turns her out. Then, the director of the salt field attempts to rape her. Then she kills him and commits suicide.
