A mother and her daughter part during the Korean War (1950-1953). The daughter has become a singer; her mother the wife of another man. The daughter's new record sells like hot cakes, one of which reaches her mother. She listens to her songs but doesn't know it is sung by her daughter. One day while listening to the radio, the singer is interviewed and it becomes clear to the mother that she is her daughter. She visits the broadcasting station looking for her. They have a heart-moving reunion after a long period of separation.
