Yong-pil forms a music group called Funny Kit with his friend Dong-hyub. They meet Hye-ryun and she becomes their sponsor. Hye-ryun recognizes Yong-pil's talent and they soon fall in love. Yong-pil overcomes many difficult times and gets to record a song on another singer's album. But Hye-ryun's terminal heart condition becomes worse. She buys a great number of the record and begins to distribute them to cafe disc jockeys and asks them to play the song. Yong-pil becomes a top star but Hye-ryun diappears. On the day of his concert, his story is told through his songs and Hye-ryun drags her dying body to the concert hall.
