Gwi-im has lived in China for 65years, after she was abducted as a sex slave by the army, during World War 2. Hyang-ok met her family and a man, Deok-su, who is a son of Gwi-im’s first love. They fell in love and she prepared to bring Gwi-im to Korea but failed to come back to Korea. Hyang-ok went back to China, to her grandmother, Gwi-im. After Hyang-ok came back, Gwi-im asked Hyang-ok what happened in Korea over and over, but she never answered. Gwi-im is being emaciated, taking care of her absent-minded granddaughter. - KOFIC
