Yun works as a reporter in the days of confusion in the wake of the Korean liberation from Japan. He keeps hope that he'll achieve something someday. He analyzes the political power of the left and right wing and thinks about the cause of the confusion. Finally, he decides to shake his flag and shoots the hero of the left wing, Lee Chul.
