Yun Sim-deok is a singer devastated by an unreturned love.  In order to overcome the broken heart, she goes to Japan.  However, she cannot cope with her yearning and boards on a ship headed for Korea.  When the ship is in the middle of the Genkai Sea, she realizes that she has been foolish to be obsessed with impossible love.  Along with her tragic love, she throws herself into the sea.
