Oki's Movie (2009, 80 min)
"One of Hong's most structurally audacious films, Oki's Movie comprises four short films arranged in an almost nesting doll formation. As each section reveals itself, impressions of a love triangle emerge as talented young director Jingu and his teacher, Professor Song, vie for the affection of ever-earnest film student Oki. Oki's Movie beguiles as it befuddles and, in its moving final section, inaugurates Hong's interest in female subjectivity." Cinema Guild

Lost in the Mountains (2009, 32 min)
Misook (Jung Yu-mi) drives a used car she received as a gift from her brother-in-law to visit her friend Jinyoung (Kim Jin-kyung) in Jeonju. However, due to unexpected circumstances, Jinyoung is unavailable, and Misook ends up spending time with Sang-ok (Moon Sung-keun), who was both her mentor and former lover. The next day, while at Jinyoung’s house, Misook accidentally finds one of Sang-ok’s belongings and discovers the relationship between Jinyoung and Sang-ok. Feeling deeply betrayed, she angrily calls Myung-woo (Lee Sun-kyun) and asks him to come down to Jeonju.
