When Today Flows into Yesterday
Daeun Joo | Korea, Germany | 2025 | 14min

Following the division of Germany after the Second World War (1939–1945), the Berlin Wall separated West and East Berlin, creating the Death Strip (1961–1989), the no-man's-land between the two walls. Much like the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the Death Strip bears a history marked by surveillance, exclusion, and countless deaths.

Kinetic Oracle
Siyoung Song | Korea | 2025 | 15min

Here lies an old promise that can never be fulfilled. A prophecy that has outlived its appointed time endures by cloaking itself in ever more subtle and powerful images. It continues to whisper in changing voices, speaking of a time and a place that can never be reached.

Ferris Wheel in the air
Won-tae Seo | Korea | 2026 | 5min 11sec

As a Ferris wheel ascends from the ground to its peak, passengers experience a shifting array of perspectives. This film, captured on 35mm photographic film and processed through generative AI, represents a hybrid fusion of human and machine vision.

Pyohaerok
Il-hwan | Korea | 2025 | 14min

A silent film made at sea. A ship departs from a port in Jeju Island, traces the geological layers, and arrives at the shoreline. Composed entirely of fixed shots, the film seeks to capture seagulls flying in and out of the frame, the sea surface changing color under sunlight, and the subtle movements of x-x-x-x-objects along the shore.
