2026 Kids Cinema, November: How We Grow Closer in Different Ways
When the film ends and the lights come up, another screening begins in the viewer’s mind. This November, Kids Cinema steps closer to that “time after the film” with Reading the Film, a talk right after the screening. Together with friends and grown-ups, we revisit the film we just watched and share our thoughts, moving from watching a film to reading it.
This year’s keyword, 'community', turns to the place closest to us: the family. Bori, an eleven-year-old, is the only one in her family who can hear. Among family members who talk in sign language, she feels lonely. If we don’t speak in the same way, do we grow apart? As Kids Cinema believes that “a good movie leaves a good question behind,” we hope each member of the audience will grow their own questions and answers.
