[Cinema Marginal] A Mulher de Todos / The Woman of Everyone
Angela Flesh and Bone, "the ultra-powerful arch-enemy of men," is an insatiable nymphomaniac married to Dr. Plirtz, a former Nazi executioner and owner of a Brazilian comic book trust. Bored with domestic life, she collects men on the idyllic retreat of Pleasure Island.
Rogerio Sganzerla, a founding figure of Cinema Marginal, directed his second feature at 23, following the acclaimed 'The Red Light Bandit' (1968). Driven by the seductive and violent presence of Helena Ignez - the movement's most prominent performer - this film embodies many defining traits of the movement: the appropriation of dissonant cinematic styles and both formal and thematic anarchy. The 2025 restoration recovers the color experimentation of the 1969 version.
