Youngtae (Park Song-yeol) and Miju (Won Hyang-ra) move into a new home, dreaming of a fresh start. With the help of an older acquaintance, Youngtae plans to open a restaurant, and the couple allow themselves a brief sense of hope. But the would-be partner abruptly backs out, saying he can’t go into business with someone who has no money. Youngtae leaves behind only a note—“This won’t do. I’ll make some money. Don’t worry. Kike will hit a home run.”—and walks out. Left alone, Miju carries on while waiting for news from him, until a loan shark who once tormented her returns and pulls her into a bitter dispute over “money.”
