Merce by Merce by Paik (1978)
This two-part video work is dedicated to Merce Cunningham, an innovator of modern dance, and Marcel Duchamp, a master of 20th-century avant-garde art. Part 1, Blue Studio: Five Segments, utilizes chroma-key technology to freely transport the dancer's body into virtual spaces and natural landscapes, showcasing a pioneering experiment in 'video dance.' In Part 2, Merce by Merce, Marcel Duchamp is reincarnated through the medium of video, presenting an original media work composed of a collage of Merce Cunningham's interviews and dance footage.

Nam June Paik: Edited for Television (1975)
Produced for WNET’s TV Lab, this witty video self-portrait encapsulates Paik's artistic philosophy. Centered on an interview with critic Calvin Tomkins, Paik explains his media art through Dada, Fluxus, and the "Zen Koan". The film captures his vision of transforming mass television into a radical tool for avant-garde expression amidst technical information overload.

Suite 212 (1975)
Named after New York City's area code, this fast-paced work serves as Paik's "personal New York sketchbook". Collaborating with artists like Shigeko Kubota, Paik reconstructs the city’s skyscrapers, streets, and pop culture into fragmented electronic images. Blending urban energy with media aesthetics, it stands as his distinct visual homage to modern metropolitan civilization.
