What Should We Have Done?
At twenty-four, a kind and promising older sister begins to show symptoms of schizophrenia. Instead of taking her to a hospital, her parents choose to padlock the front door. Behind those closed doors, the family remained silent to one another for over twenty years. No longer able to look away, the younger brother picks up a camera and steps into that silence—to question his sister, his parents, and ultimately, himself. And in the end, he asks us: "What should we have done?"
